Our passion here at Descend Inc. is biking, biking, biking. We want to introduce as many people as possible to the thrills of free-riding and downhilling. Different people enjoy different styles and different skill levels require different trips.
That’s why we have created three main trip types and then modified each according to skill level. In addition to the three basic packages, we can also provide custom trips in and around Kicking Horse Country.

The Golden Ticket
Never been to Golden before? You’re in for a pleasant surprise. This small town in British Columbia is tightly nestled in Kicking Horse Country and is home to some of the best downhilling in North America.
The appeal of Golden is that is it home to both shuttle-accessed (riders are transported by van up a logging road to a trail head) and lift-accessed (yup, your bikes go on the chair lift just like in the winter) riding.
Park Life
British Columbia is a downhill mountain biker’s playground. Every year new hills seem to be opening up to allow riders to exploit the awesome terrain left unused on ski hills.
We’ve ridden most of them but two of our favorite’s are Kicking Horse Mountain Resort and Panorama Mountain Village.
Mount-7 Gear Up
Mount 7 is a long-standing favorite among locals. The location and terrain makes the mountain suitable for varying skill levels and most importantly, a blast for everyone.
This is a single day trip perfect if you’ve got a busy weekend and can only squeeze in a day of riding or are just not ready to commit to an entire weekend.
